"Fundamental Methodist Youth Camp has made a huge impact in my life. I have been a camper there for three years and each year I come home renewed and on fire for God. Not only is everyone at the camp awesome, they are there to help people going through hard times. I was going through something that I couldn't overcome and one night I felt led to talk to my counselor about it. He and a few others talked with me and prayed with me. I came away from that night feeling happier and more in love with God than I had felt for a long time. The people at the camp are a HUGE blessing to me and I love getting to spend a week with them every year. This camp means so much to me and I hope others can experience changes in their lives the way I did."

I had never gone to any other church camp before I started going to the FM Youth Church Camp the summer before my senior year. I was a “Christian” when I went as a camper the first summer, or so I thought. I went to church every Sunday and Wednesday, sang every time they would hand me a mic, and would help with church dinners whenever they came around. I did all these things thinking they were what God wanted from me, but really what he wanted from me and all his children is a personal relationship with Him. He wants us to talk to him everyday; about anything, He likes to hear from us. He also wants us to read his word, that’s why He gave it to us and especially wants us to be surrounded by His other children. Those are the things that I learned how to do when I went to church camp. I rededicated my life to the Lord that Thursday night of teen camp and my life has never been the same. I am so blessed to have come in contact with such amazing people and can not wait to see what the Lord has planned for the camp in the years to come.

"This summer will be my fourth year at FM youth camp. This camp has made a large impact on my life. My second year at camp I accepted The Lord as my Savior in one of the dorms with Cynthia Frieze and Sally Spurlock. Last year at camp was the most important year of the three years I have gone. I just was very moved by the word of God in many ways and He was something I had needed more of in my life and I realized that at that time, and that is why my relationship with God is as strong as it has ever been presently. The staff at this camp are amazing and would do anything for any of the campers. This camp has changed my life in many ways. It has taught me how to strengthen my relationship with God, and encourage others to strengthen theirs."
